I will stamp all over 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's heavyweight fight.

Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers met for the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really happening.
